In His mercy, God has given us His Son Jesus, who died on a cruel Roman cross for our sins. He was “punished for our faults” (Isaiah 50:5) the Bible tells us, and on Him God placed the debt of sin that we owed. God did this because of His great love for us. Through Jesus, He fully cancelled all that would ever keep us from Him, and invites us to come and receive His free gift of forgiveness, fellowship and eternal life.

At Heart of the Lord Ministries, we celebrate the grace that is found in Christ Jesus. Through music, teaching and prayer we share the truth that God loves us and invites us to enter into an intimate relationship with Him. The Scriptures tell us that “perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18) and that “we being delivered out of the hands of our enemies might serve Him without fear in holiness and righteousness...” (Luke 1:74). It is in knowing the One who took our condemnation upon Himself, that we find release from the fear and servanthood of the law, to the love and inspiration of God's Grace. This is the grace that gives strength for our weakness, life in our death, and love for all fear.

Having fufilled the law for us, Jesus sent His Spirit into our hearts so that the external law of righteousness might now be fulfilled within us (not by us) by the Holy Spirit (Philippians 3:4-9). It is by entering into the Holy of Holies of the Lord's finished work at Calvary, that true healing and rest can come to the soul. It is here that we abandon our striving for the "better part" of abiding (Luke 10:42) and find that only in close relationship with Jesus,
do we "bear much fruit" (John 5:15).
